2nd Year Course Project - The Peaky Blinders Bar Installation Manchester, January 2021
The main concept for this project was to design a meet and greet station for The Peaky Blinders Bar and Restaurant in Manchester. My design was based on the industrial scenes seen throughout the series, involving Corten metal and dark wood framing. This station was designed to be functional with plenty of storage space, whilst also providing a clear place for customers to wait to be seated. The front of the design showed the restaurant's logo embossed into a Corten steel sheet, with multiple sporadic holes that represent bullet holes as guns are also an integral part of the Peaky Blinders brand. These holes have LED lighting recessed behind them, ensuring the station along with the logo is lit up and drawing attention to itself.
